美国大学图书馆新馆员培训模式及启示New Librarians Training Model in American University Library and Its Enlightenment

摘要(Abstract):
传统的美国大学图书馆新馆员培训因为资源短缺、缺乏互动、培训时长不足等原因,造成新馆员的流失以及资源的严重浪费,已引起相关利益者的广泛批评。基于社会化资源理论的新馆员四阶段培训模式是一套逻辑严谨的培训体系,能够更好地满足新馆员培训需求。四阶段培训模式要求大学图书馆与新馆员进行全方位互动,根据馆员入职前、入职初、入职一年内、入职满一年四个阶段制定馆员培训计划,同时做好相应的培训资源配置,并对新馆员工作表现进行积极评价,给予适当激励。但是在实际操作过程中也存在培训资源闲置和资源指向效果不明确等问题。对于我国大学图书馆新馆员培训来说,一方面要借鉴美国的培训模式,积极促进新馆员的社会化,另一方面新馆员也要通过自身努力,积极融入新环境。
